Our seven and ten-year balloon products are very popular as they can help members purchase a home or refinance and not pay PMI. Most lenders require PMI on loans where the loan amount exceeds 80% of the property value. Trust FCU saves you money by not charging PMI on balloon loans.


HELOC

Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOC) are a different type of home loan. The line of credit is established, giving you the ability to withdraw funds (draws) when you need them. The first five years of the loan is considered the "draw period," where funds may be withdrawn up to the credit limit.

Once the draw period ends, the loan enters the repayment period, and no more draws are allowed. The repayment period is amortized over 15 years. These loans are variable rates indexed to the Wall Street Journal Prime Lending Rate.

Our HELOCs typically come with a special rate for the first year. After the first year, they reprice to the applicable index rate.
